Saona Island Tour
Travel by speedboat and catamaran to experience white sands and plenty of natural beauty along the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic with an unforgettable Saona Island tour. This is more than a simple trip to the beach. You’ll also enjoy activities such as volleyball, swimming in a natural pool with starfish, and plenty of dancing and music aboard the boat.
Sail to the starfish
The Saona Island tour begins with transportation from your resort to the fishing village of Bayahibe, where you’ll be boarding either a catamaran or a speedboat. As you pass the national park, keep your eyes wide open for the creatures that call this wilderness home. On the way, your guides will take you to a hidden gem — a natural swimming place that’s home to starfish.
Jump right in and have fun during your swim with the stars, then it’s time to continue onward to the marvelous Saona Beach. You’ll know you’ve arrived when the boat pulls into the gorgeous white sands that make it a must-see destination in the Dominican Republic.
Enjoy games, relaxation and lunch at Saona Beach
There are few places where you can relax and have a blast at the same time like Saona Beach. Learn to dance merengue, swim in the clear Caribbean Sea and get competitive with a game of beach volleyball.
Beach life is about balance, so once you’ve worked up a sweat, it’s time to take a break under the shade of palm trees. Don’t doze off too early, though, because there’s also a Dominican lunch buffet with a variety of regional dishes to savor. If you want to take your relaxation a step further, you can book a massage for an additional fee.

“My wife and I went a few days ago, and it was worth every penny spent. snorkeling, sailing 2hrs, swimming and then relaxing with a bbq before speed boating back. Wellington’s advice paid off. Valentine was a fantastic guide and dispenser of the rum rations.”
